Capacitance Converters
20 conversion pages for capacitance units, each with its exact factor, the formula and a reference table.
The Capacitance Converters collection covers 20 pages of capacitance units — one page for each ordered pair of units, so there is nothing to configure before you get an answer.
There is one page per direction. A dual-dropdown converter is fewer pages but a worse answer: the examples, the reference table and the rounding advice on “Farads to Microfarads” are all specific to that pairing, and none of it survives being made generic.
Because a conversion is only as good as its factor, every page names the factor it applies and where the definition comes from. That matters more than it sounds: US and imperial gallons differ by a fifth, there are three separate horsepowers still in use, and a US ton is not a tonne.
This collection reaches across farads, microfarads, nanofarads and picofarads. Sitting in Electrical & Electronics Units, it links back to the sibling collections that share its units, so a chain of conversions never needs a second tab.
