Time Zones: from Asia
288 city-to-city time converters from an Asian city, with live offsets and shared office hours.
Time Zones: from Asia holds 288 converters, each one starting from an Asian city: Bangkok, Dhaka, Hong Kong, Karachi, Mumbai and Seoul and more. Every page converts a time in that city into the time in one other city, in that direction, with the reverse page linked from it.
The conversion is not a stored offset. Each page reads the IANA time zone database through your own browser, which is why it stays correct across daylight saving changeovers and after a government moves its clocks — the two events that break every hard-coded converter. The page also lists that year’s actual transition dates for both cities, including the short windows where the usual difference does not apply.
Each page also answers the practical question behind the search: when can both sides take a call. The overlap is computed from each city’s own working hours and working week, so a Sunday–Thursday week or an early Nordic finish is accounted for instead of assumed away.
Time Zones: from Asia sits in Time Zone Converters, next to the date, duration and working-time calculators for the arithmetic that follows once you know the difference.
